When do the camps begin? EdTerra camps begin on 14th May and close on 21st June 2012. What is the duration of each program? The duration of each program is one week. What is the mode of travel? The groups will travel either by bus, train or jeeps or a combination of all, depending on the chosen campsite. What is the participant to adult ratio of each group? EdTerra maintains a ratio of 12:1 between participants and adults. Where are the EdTerra Camps located? Camp Junga, Camp Rajgarh and Camp Moshobra are in Himachal Pradesh and Camp Tons is in Uttarakhand. Where will the participants stay during the program? The participants will stay in tents. There will be separate tents and toilets for boys and girls. What is the weather like at the camp sites? The weather will be pleasant during the day and cool during the night. What kind of food will be provided? The children will be provided with well balanced, healthy food with a mix of North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese dishes on the menu. What are the medical facilities available at the campsite? First Aid will be available at all times. We have a tie up with the nearest local hospital in case of any emergency. What outdoor activities will be conducted? The participants will be engaged in rock climbing, rappelling, trekking, Tyrolean traverse and stream crossing. They will also do white water rafting in Camp Tons. What is EdTerra Edventures? What experience does Edterra Edventures have in dealing with school children? Over 6500 children from various reputed schools have travelled with EdTerra Edventures to date. It has taken out domestic journeys to places like Jaipur, Agra, Goa, Mumbai, Dharamsala and Amritsar as well as overseas journeys to places like Canada, China, Egypt, Thailand, Malaysia and Mauritius.
